Contemporary refinement

Contemporary refinement

Eaton Place Kamizono-cho is designed to be a reflection of its parkland setting and is inspired by the park’s open space, tranquillity and natural light. It offers residents a new interpretation of contemporary refinement, yet one that is wholly at home with its woodland surroundings.

Studio PDP (formery known as Paul Davis & Partners) designed the interiors of Eaton Place Kamizono-cho. Having partnered with Grosvenor in both London and Asia, Paul Davis possesses an innate understanding of how to foster a cohesive community within a unique luxury setting. For Eaton Place Kamizono-cho, the emphasis was placed on creating peaceful, private environments drenched in natural light. High-end quality is demonstrated through the expansive open-plan spaces accentuated by a combination of Japanese and British design details.

Planning

Planning

Yasui Architects & Engineers believe in the power of design. Since they were founded in 1924, their goal has been “to inspire people through architecture,” a philosophy that has established them as one of Japan's most sought after architectural practices for several decades. The firm brings a uniquely experienced Japanese sensibility to the architecture of Eaton Place Kamizono-cho. Yasui considered some 30 different architectural designs for Eaton Place Kamizono-cho before arriving at its current design. One of the key design features is the grand entrance - awash with natural sunlight - streaming in through a magnificent skylight. The residences themselves are elegant living spaces set above ground level, exposing them to the abundant woodland views that can be seen through the generous windows.

Lighting Design

Lighting Design

Wide open spaces flooded with natural light are a signature quality of Eaton Place Kamizono-cho. We worked with Uchihara Creative Lighting Design to create an interior lighting design that represents our unique character. Drawing on the greenery and serenity of its Yoyogi Park location, the lighting in the individual duplex apartments evokes a sense of modern comfort and classic sophistication. Lighting in the public areas is designed to allow people to move naturally through each space.
